Have fun exploring science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Meet local STEM pros. Explore the sun. Design a city. Extract DNA from bananas. There will be something for everyone. Meet Mrs. Iowa International.

Join the Science Center at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art’s Family Fun Day as we help kick off the opening of the new Brian Selznick exhibit! Selznick has illustrated over 25 children’s books. We’ll explore how color affects mood, participate in a group sketch, and create optical illusions! This is a free, family-friendly event and includes free admission to the Art Gallery. Don’t miss it!

No registration required. The Science Center will be there from 11:00 am until supplies run out!
